Want to convert your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge into Galaxy S7 Edge along with latest Nougat firmware? Yes, you can do it right now even though Samsung has yet to release official Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge.
For those you bummed out because you thought Galaxy S7/S7 Edge have new software features that your Galaxy S6/S6 Edge doesn’t, we are here to give you good news that you can now easily convert your Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge into Galaxy S7/S7 Edge using root and custom ROM called Noble ROM.
For those of you who want to root your Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, or even Note 5 on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, you can do so using SpaceX kernel.

We knew that once Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus were released, we’d soon have Note 5 or S6 Edge Plus ROMs for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
For those of you who want to root your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, you will want to follow a different root method as Google has changed how rooting works with newer Android 5.1.1. Due to Android 5.1.1 changes, you can no longer root your S6 or S6 Edge without causing it to soft-brick. But there’s a work-around, this goes back to the days of older Android ICS and Gingerbread where we flash a modified kernel to make root possible. It’s unfortunate that the newer Android 5.1.1 makes rooting more complex but it is still doable with a custom kernel.

For those of you who have been waiting for root on your AT&T/Verizon Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge(SM-G920A/SM-G925A/SM-G920V/SM-G925V), we have some good news for you, there’s now a new root method called “PingPong Root” that will root it easily within 5 minutes.
For those of you with an AT&T SM-G920A/SM-925A or Verizon SM-G920V/SM-G925V, you may be happy to hear that there is a root method that may work soon called “PingPongRoot” on XDA. This is still work in progress but have been confirmed to work on many S6 models including SM-G920F, SM-G920I, SM-G9200, SM-G920P, SM-G920T, and many more.
